I applaud the authorities in Miami who are organizing the Miami Gay and Lesbian Festival that is now running in South Florida. The event is taking place from April 27th through May 6th at the Regal south beach cinema in MB, the Gusman center for the Performing Arts, the Colony theater in MB and Sunrise theater in Ft Laudardale. The festival logo commemorates the 30th anniversary of the "save our children" crusade to repeal the country's 1977 human rights ordinance prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.
This year's fest marks the british born Coombe's first as festival director since succeeding Jaie Laplante, who is now whetting appetites as the associate director of the SB Wine and Food festival. As the days progress I will report on the different events and people I may have the chance to meet for all my readers. On keeping with good news, I am also very happy about the valiant efforts of new lesbian sites who try to put forward responsib! le products such as PIB with unbiased reviews of lesbian videos produced by a miriad of content film makers. More on my next installment.
